If you are interested in partnering with Rifle Builder PRO, we’d love to talk with you! We are looking to partner with companies that manufacture bolt-action rifle actions, barrel blanks, reamers and other related tooling, and more!

Partner Program Overview

The Rifle Builder PRO partner program establishes a formal working relationship between Rifle Builder PRO and the company joining the program. Initially, Rifle Builder PRO will be focused on Bolt-Action rifle and action manufacturers.

Here are some activities, deliverables, and benefits for these partnerships:

Basic Information Exchange: If your company manufactures rifle actions, we will share forms that you can fill out in order to natively support your actions in Rifle Builder Pro. Only basic information and general specifications are needed for basic support in Rifle Builder PRO if your actions can be represented with one of the standard tenon profiles in Rifle Builder PRO.

Advanced Integration:

After basic integration is performed, Rifle Builder PRO will be eventually adding support for a “premium experience” with your rifles and actions. This Advanced Integration includes to-scale 2D diagrams that are matched to your products, and additional data so that rifle builders can perform detailed custom gunsmithing jobs with your products.

Here is a preliminary example of what we envision this experience to look like:

Product Updates:

When your company releases new products, we’d like to integrate them into Rifle Builder PRO (the same is true for updating data related to product changes and updates). If users of Rifle Builder PRO are having issues with your products, we’d like to help answer those questions where possible (via product integration and data), and help guide them to the right person at your company if our platform doesn’t address their questions.

Sample Products:

In some cases, Rifle Builder PRO (an 07 FFL / SOT) may request product (rifles and/or actions) in order to validate programs and machining flows (and possibly for other reasons). Rifle Builder PRO will retain these products long-term in order to perform updates and to re-validate programs and machining flows for future udpates/releases.

eCommerce/Sales Integration

One of the compelling reasons for gunsmiths to join Rifle Builder PRO will be a “Purchase Now” integration feature. A goal for Rifle Builder PRO is to offer the lowest prices on rifle actions, barrel blanks for our industry partners (your company) that are interested in offering such promotions.

Initial planning for this integration would entail:

A “Rifle Builder PRO Exclusive” discounted price for the gunsmith/customer purchasing the action.
Drop ship fulfillment model products supported by the program.
A Rifle Builder PRO commission based on each sale.

During our initial planning, we’d like to get your feedback on this model, and also determine your interest level in participation. More details will be available as the program evolves.

Partner Program FAQ

Q: Does it cost anything to join the Rifle Builder PRO Partner Program?
A: No, there is no cost for this program, although sample products may be requested.

Q: How much time is involved to gather and send rifle action data to Rifle Builder PRO?
A: If there are similarities between your actions, and if you are submitting data for multiple actions it should take no longer than 15 minutes per action if you have CAD models and documentation at hand. Initially, this will be as simple as filling out pages in a spreadsheet document that will be shared with you.

Q: What information that our company supplies to Rifle Builder PRO is shared externally to the general public?
A: Only the information that is required to perform gunsmithing operations via the Rifle Builder PRO platform. Contact information and other notes will not be shared with the general public or with other members of the industry without your company’s consent.

Q: What happens if our company doesn’t join the Rifle Builder PRO Partner Program?
A: Rifle Builder PRO may support your rifles/actions as “Unofficial” with limited data labeled “use at your own risk”. At Rifle Builder PRO we will strive to integrate and support as many products as possible, however it is only by means of a partnership with your company that we can offer a premium experience for customers buildering rifles with your products.

Q: Our rifle actions don’t have a headspace guarantee, is this an issue?
A: No, this is not a problem at all! Under these circumstances, Gunsmiths will be prompted to measure “receiver face to bolt face”, and that value will be integrated into the machining flow or code (for the job at hand) to reflect action-specific headspace dimensions.
